The Mi Mix 2 is here. Xiaomi has officially brought its 2nd generation of Mi Mix phone to Singapore. However, it will only come in 64GB version. Xiaomi is not bringing in the 128GB or the special edition version (yet).
Comparing to Mi Mix, the Mi Mix 2 is smaller (5.99-inch as compared to 6.44-inch) and has a few new enhancement.
As I have the review unit, I will be covering it in another blog post. In the meanwhile, check out the details on Pre-order and pricing via the Press Release below.

Xiaomi launches full-screen display smartphone Mi MIX 2 in Singapore
Priced at S$699, Mi MIX 2 further shows Xiaomi’s commitment to bring its innovation to
everyone in Singapore
SINGAPORE, 15 December 2017 — Global technology leader Xiaomi today announced that it is bringing Mi MIX 2 to Singapore, a gorgeous evolution of Mi MIX, the revolutionary full-screen display concept phone unveiled a year ago.
Priced at S$699 for the 6GB + 64GB version, Mi MIX 2 once again underscores Xiaomi’s commitment to being at the forefront of technological innovation while making these innovations affordable to the widest possible range of consumers.
Full screen display 2.0
Mi MIX pioneered the trend of full screen display smartphones and Mi MIX 2, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 mobile platform, builds on the foundation of the original concept. It is 11.9% smaller than Mi MIX, and has a 5.99-inch screen with a 18:9 full screen display, which delivers a stunning appearance with the screen almost entirely filling up the front surface.
Jointly designed with world-renowned designer Philippe Starck, Mi MIX 2 represents Xiaomi’s efforts in pushing ahead with the use of ceramic. It has a beautiful ceramic back, which features a four-sided curved design that transitions smoothly into the aluminium frame.
Mi MIX 2 will be available in Singapore for S$699 for the 6GB + 64GB version. Pre-orders will start online through Lazada from 12 December 2017, with the first sale date on 15 December 2017. It will also be available offline from Xiaomi’s two Authorized Mi Stores and Challenger retail shops on the same day.
As one of the first few global markets that Xiaomi expanded to, Singapore plays an important role in Xiaomi’s global journey. Xiaomi has launched a range of its high-performance smartphones such as Mi A1, Mi 6, Mi Note 2 and Redmi Note 5A Prime in Singapore, as well as a range of lifestyle technology products including Mi Air Purifier and Mi Smart Scale.
Recently, Xiaomi has expanded offline by opening two Authorized Mi Stores (Suntec City and Causeway Point), which are expected to provide greater accessibility to its rich array of products, further demonstrating Xiaomi’s commitment to the market.
