First Look: Huawei PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 10

Huawei unveiled a few products yesterday. If you have missed them, check out this link (First look of Mate 10) and this link (pricing and availability information in Singapore). One of the most premium product in the launch is the PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 10.

It has the same goodness of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and comes in premium material. During the event, it was mentioned that the back of this PD Mate 10 is made in such a way to mimic ceramic material. The reason why they are not choosing ceramic is that it is heavy.

The PD Mate 10 comes with the same dual lens system co-engineered with Leica that is on Mate 10 Pro. However, the signature stripe is replaced by a vertical one with PD logo on it.

Here is a closer look at the lens.

The PORSCHE DESIGN is prominently placed on the front of the device.

As you may or may not know, Huawei has removed the 3.5mm jack from Mate 10 Pro and also the PD Mate 10. Based on the reply we got from our Interview with the executive, it is due to that fact that the digital port can produce better bitrate and better audio experience with the users.

Here are the different side views.

The PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 10 in Diamond Black color will be available in Singapore from December. Pricing wise, there is no official pricing yet. Unofficially, during the event, the pricing was announced 1,395 Euro or approx. S$2,227.
