Gillette Writes Itself into the Singapore Book of Records with Fastest Delivery of the New Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall™ Technology razors
Hailing the next generation of shaving, 200 Gillette Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall™ razors were snapped up online in 2 minutes and 11 seconds
Singapore, June 19, 2015 – Gillette, the leader in global shave care, today set a new record in the Singapore Book of Records for ‘Fastest E-Commerce Redemption and Delivery of 200 products’ in the closest time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. Renowned for its superior innovations in shaving, Gillette demonstrated its commitment to delivering results with precision and responsiveness by ensuring all 200 customers received their new Gillette Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall™ Technology razors across 200 homes within a record time.
In this pre-launch phase of the revolutionary razor, all 200 units were snapped up in just 2 minutes and 11 seconds from the time it was launched on Qoo10 Singapore, the No. 1 Singapore-based e-commerce platform. With the help of logistics company, Ninja Van, all 200 Gillette FlexBall™ razors were delivered to customers across the island.
The record marks Gillette’s pre-launch of its latest product innovation to change the face of shaving yet again: the Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall™ Technology. Inspired by ‘Shave Face’ – the scrunching and stretching that men make to ensure that their razor makes contact with their face – the Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall™ Technology is a razor designed to move to meet a man’s face, resulting in maximum contact over contours and providing the closest shave possible.
“Since introducing the very first safety razor in 1901, Gillette has always pushed the envelope and revolutionized the way the world shaves,” said Madam Heng Aik Shian, Associate Director of Procter & Gamble, Singapore Country Sales and ASEAN e-commerce. “The new Gillette FlexBall™ razor is proof of this tradition of innovation, fusing state-of-the-art engineering with precision technology – once again creating an unrivaled shaving experience for men worldwide.”
“We are proud to partner Gillette on the exclusive online event for the pre-launch of the Gillette Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall™ in Singapore,” said Mr Hyun Wook Cho, Country Manager of Qoo10 Singapore. “The fact that 200 sets were redeemed by Qoo10 users in 2 minutes and 11 seconds is a personal record for us and a great testament to the popularity of Gillette shavers among Singaporeans.”
Qoo10 users can be among the first to lay their hands on the new Gillette Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall™ by making pre-orders on the Gillette e-shop on http://www.qoo10.sg/shop/QooLife.
