HTC Butterfly 2 is now available in Singapore. Not sure what is the retail price. I am a little disappointed with HTC because on 20th August when it was officially announced in Tokyo, I asked about the official release date in Singapore and was given “a later date”.

Today, when I saw the newspaper, the HTC Butterfly 2 is actually available in various Telcos and appears on HTC SEA website. I guess the people that know about the launch are those who frequent the HTC Singapore Facebook page.

Did not think that it will reach Singapore so soon. Nevertheless, it is still good news. I think only 2 colors are available based on the website: White and Red. I might be getting it as my HTC One M7 is “almost time”.

With the water and dust resistant capabilites, I think this phone is suitable for most activities. For your info, the White version is in matte (Red is glossy) and from what I read, the Canvas White version is supposedly to withstand dirt with its special coating. I have not seen one but if this is true, I will definitely get the white version.
