Anytime TV is now StarHub TV Lite
– 16 FreeView channels and complimentary set-top box rental for home broadband customers-
– Premium add-on channels available on a la carte basis-
Singapore, 24 January 2014 – Anytime TV, StarHub’s pay-as-you-watch cable TV plan exclusively for StarHub home broadband customers, has been rebranded as StarHub TV Lite. The service (which is worth $16.05 per month w/GST) gives customers access to 16 StarHub TV FreeView channels and use of a HubStation or HD Interactive set-top box free of charge. Customers can also access an on-demand library of more than 6,500 TV shows and movies.
In addition to the rebranding, premium add-on channels will be available to StarHub TV Lite customers from $6.42 per month (w/GST). These include the CinemaWorld Pack, KaraOK!, Kelikkai Pack, Hiburan Pack, Ruyi Hokkien On Demand, Sports Group and VV Drama.
“StarHub TV Lite is all about giving customers control and choice over their viewing habits. By offering premium add-on channels on an a la carte basis, along with access to over 6,500 on-demand titles, the service allows home broadband customers to consume content on their own terms. We hope to introduce even more premium add-on channels and on-demand content on this service in near future,” said Ms Lin Shu Fen, Head of Home Solutions, StarHub.
Besides the 16 complimentary FreeView channels, StarHub TV Lite customers can choose from popular channels across genres such as Asian entertainment (VV Drama), ethnic content (Sensasi, Sun TV, Vijay), international films (CinemaWorld) and sports (FOX Sports, NBA TV). In addition, customers can view selected channels on their personal devices such as smartphones and tablets on StarHub TV Anywhere where available.
