Finally, someone makes an accessory that could emit smell. Meet Scentee Hana Yakiniku (means Nose, Grill meat) iPhone accessory. Once you plug it into the 3.5mm jack and uses it companion app, you will be able to smell the aroma of grill meat from your phone.

The examples in the video is a little bit sad. One has no money to eat grill meat while the other wants to slim down. The worst will be the couple, going on a date by eating plain rice and enjoying the grill meat scent from the accessory.

Basically, the device needs a scent cartridge to work. Together with the app, it will emit the scent at selected timing. Check out the video.

It will debut only on 15th November 2013. The cost of  the Hana Yakiniku is 3,480 yen. The cartridge replacement  will only cost  1,000 yen.
