Apple has become the innovator with the release of the Touch ID (or fingerprint) sensor on iPhone 5s. This has created an urge for hackers to try to “hack” the sensor. True enough, they did it (based on the video).
However, the only comforting thing is that no one will bother to try it unless you are so special or important that accessing your data is the top agenda. The process seems complicated. Check out the video first.
Judging from his hand movement, he seems super excited or nervous on presenting this findings. Maybe Apple will have something to say to response to this hack.
