Seems like gold color is the new silver. HTC seems to be making a gold color HTC One (based on the leaked picture). But before anyone can accuse HTC of copying iPhone 5s, the picture was taken on the 12th August and HTC should have been planning it for some time.
According to the Engadget, they had talked to One series’ designer Justin Huang before. According to the designer, the marking/lettering is a way to identify the quality and also to allow them to get matching part.
