Singapore, 6 September 2013 – From 10 September 2013 onwards, paying your bills and fines is now more convenient and hassle-free. AXS Ptd Ltd, the operator of AXS Station network, officially announced its two new payment channels: the AXS m-Station (mobile app) and AXS e-Station (Internet). Targeting mobile and internet-savvy users, over 80 billing organisations will be available on both new platforms in the initial phase. For the first time, users can access the extensive payment services for bills and fines provided by AXS from the comfort of their homes or while on the move, anytime. Mobile warriors will also be able to store and access past payment history on their smartphones and tablets.
A soft launch on 13 August saw over 100,000 downloads for AXS m-station on both iOS and Android platforms by the end of August. It took the top 3 position for the most downloaded app in the Top Free Apps category on App Store and Google Play. “The launch of AXS payment services on the Internet and mobile app underscore our commitment in providing more access points to both our customers and corporate partners. We are delighted by the initial response during the soft launch, and hope that this will provide our customers with more options to access AXS services, and attract new users who want a 24/7, one-stop payment service at their fingertips. AXS e-Station and AXS m-Station will offer a familiar-yet-refreshed interface giving our users convenience, ease of use, and peace of mind for their day-to-day transactions,” said Mr Chin Mun Chung, Assistant CEO of AXS.
The first phase of the launch will offer bill and fine payment services. AXS aims to progressively include more e-services, including top-up services for telco pre-paid cards, at a later stage. Payment remains simple as AXS has partnered with NETS to offer eNETS debit as the preferred payment mode on the 2 new channels. Users with DBS Bank/POSB, OCBC Bank, UOB or Citibank bank account can use their internet banking log-in credentials to transact on the new channels.
