TweetDeck retiring Android, iPhone and Desktop version

If you are a fan of TweetDeck, it is time to say goodbye. No, TweetDeck is not going away just yet. In fact, it is going to focused on building a fast and feature-rich web application for modern browsers. Therefore, they decided to kill off the Desktop, Android and the iPhone version.

From May, the apps will be pulled from Android and iPhone market. Here is information from their blog post.

Over the next two months users of TweetDeck AIR, TweetDeck for Android and TweetDeck for iPhone may experience some outages with those apps before they are removed from their respective app stores in early May.

Actually, I uninstalled the desktop version of TweetDeck from my laptop recently. It is true that I have been relying on my web version more. However, I do miss the columns.
