While it is strange that WhatsApp suddenly disappear from Windows Phone Marketplace last week, there might be a logical explanation to it. Windows Phone Daily has managed to dig out some WhatsApp screenshots at WhatsApp website that might be for Windows Phone 8.

Of course at this point, we can’t be sure if it is for Windows Phone 7.8 or Windows Phone 8. However, Windows Phone Daily found these screenshots in a folder named Apollo. This is exactly the code name for Windows Phone 8.

There is no actual proof that these screenshots are legit but since WhatsApp team is still hosting them, they might be the real deal.
