As mentioned, this is a leaked information which there is no way to confirm. According to the information, HTC is going to out 3 new Windows Phone 8 models (Rio, Accord, Zenith) that caters for different (budget) needs.
BTW, the above image is NOT the HTC WP8. It is the standard Windows Phone 8 that Microsoft presented to the world. Now, lets get on to the features of each HTC leaked Windows Phone 8.
Rio:
- Entry level Windows Phone
- 4″ WVGA display
- 5mp camera with 720p video capture
- 512mb on board memory
- 14.4Mbps HSPA
- Qualcomm MSM8227 processor
Accord
- 4.3″ 720p Super LCD 2 screen
- 8mp camera with 1080p video capture
- NFC support
- 1gb of RAM
- Dual-core processor
- 42Mbps HSPA+
Zenith
- 4.7″ 720p Super LCD 2 screen
- 8mp camera with 1080p video capture
- 42Mbps HSPA+
- Quad-core Qualcomm processor
Seems like they are going to ship this year. For Rio and Accord, it is in the October period (sounds logical as this is the month that started the first Windows Phone 7).
As for Zenith, it seems to be shipping around the 4th quarter of this year.
