WITH SONY’S “CYBER-SHOT WX100 MORE IN LESS” CAMPAIGN
(SINGAPORE, 05 JUNE 2012) – Sony today unveils the “Cyber-shot WX100 More in Less” campaign, a series of fun and interactive contests which highlight the compact quality and zoom functionality of the Cyber-shot WX100.
As the world’s smallest and lightest cameras in its class, the Cyber-shot WX100 takes full advantage of the newly-developed Advanced Aspherical (AA) lens, which dramatically reduces camera body thickness to as slim as 17.5mm while increasing optical performance for amazing image quality.
The new 10x optical lens (25-250mm) captures wide expanses and dramatic zoom shots, enhanced by Clear Image Zoom for 20x zoom while resolution is kept. Thanks to the Extra High Sensitivity technology, noise of the image has been reduced without affecting image quality. And Sony’s 18.2 megapixel (effective) Exmor R™ CMOS image sensor, teamed with the BIONZ image processing engine’s adaptive noise reduction and other low noise technologies, enables the WX100 to deliver exceptionally high quality images.

To win the new Cyber-shot WX100, contestants will have to simply justify why they deserve to win the camera in as few characters as possible via Twitter. They will have to include #moreinless in their entries and winners will be selected based on the creativity of their tweets, length of their tweets and the popularity based on re-tweets they manage to garner. Only one tweet per week will be identified as the winner.
Cyber-shot WX100 More Zoom in Less Room: Guess and Win!
Date: 10 July – 6 August 2012
Contestants will have to log on to http://moreinlessWX100.sony-asia.com to guess the objects based on the five different zoomed-in images that Sony releases each week. Contestants may seek their friends’ help by sharing the link via Facebook. A total of four cameras are up to be won in the contest that spans four weeks and the first contestant who submits all five correct entries each week will win a Cyber-shot WX100.
Cyber-shot Snap & Win!
Date: 7 August – 31 December 2012
Based on the themes shared by Sony each month, contestants will be able to win for themselves a Cyber-shot WX100 by submitting their photo via Sony Singapore Facebook page.
