Get the Nokia Lumia 900 in Singapore from 26th May

Finally, Nokia Lumia 900 is here in Singapore. The new Nokia Lumia 900 will be retailing for SGD849 at Nokia retail stores and at all mobile operators in Singapore. It will be available from Saturday 26 May 2012 in Black, White and Cyan.

In my opinion, I think Nokia Lumia 900 is the successor of Lumia 800. It has what Lumia 800 is lacking. For example, a 1 MPX front facing camera.

I think with the bigger 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display, coupled with a front facing camera and with Nokia’s 8 MPX Carl Zeiss (F2.2 aperture) lens, it will be interesting for consumers. BTW, it comes with an internal (non-replaceable) 1800mAh battery.

For those who do not want to pay extra for a navigation app, Nokia Lumia comes with it. It has Nokia Drive and Nokia Maps. Too bad, Nokia Transport is not available in Singapore (yet).

I urge those who have not tried on the Windows Phone platform, do give it a try. It is fluid and refreshing. In my opinion, I think the People Hub is a good way to “stalk” people. If you are connected with people on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), you can group them together and check out what they are doing easily using the People Hub.

In fact, after trying 3 platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone), I still go back to my Windows Phone for updates of my friends as it is extremely easy to see their updates all in one place.

So, check out next Saturday’s newspaper for the latest promotion (this is usually the case, IMHO) on this Nokia Lumia 900 🙂 .
