Kickstarter Pebble E-Paper Watch Now Supports RunKeeper App (Video)

Good news to those who supported (including myself) Pebble E-Paper watch on Kickstarter. Today, I received the news that they are officially announcing the support for RunKeeper.

Pebble is a Kickstarter project that has exceeded (by a lot) the funding needed. With an asking of US$100,000, they have now exceeded US$8 million dollars. I wonder if they can mass produce the watches on time.

Some information on the RunKeeper app.

The RunKeeper app uses the built-in GPS on your phone to track your progress as you run, cycle, walk, hike, and generally move around. It crunches that data and gives you statistics like speed, average pace, elapsed time and more.

The Pebble is compatible with iPhone and Android using Bluetooth. If you are an app developer, they want to get connected with you.

Here is a video on Pebble.

If you are interested, you can still order it (15 more days to go).
