Today, Lenovo launches its latest all-in-one PC, the 27-inch IdeaCentre A720 and IdeaPad Y480 laptop in Singapore. The Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 will be available from the first week of June, retailing at SGD 2,699; and the IdeaPad Y480 will be available from the first week of May, retailing at SGD 1,499. As the industry’s slimmest 27-inch AIO, the IdeaCentre A720 sports a sleek metal exterior and is a mere 24.5mm, thinner than a typical club sandwich. Its frameless display screen supports 10-point multi-touch. The improved AIO design is engineered to optimize the touch experience in the ‘digital’ home by allowing a widely adjustable hinge screen to be pulled towards the user at an angle of -5o and folded back to an angle of up to 90o. These products, with their traditional spinning disk hard drive (HDD), can start on average 40 percent faster than typical Windows7 PC users, thanks to Lenovo’s RapidBoot technology. RapidBoot uses optimized processes and hardware settings to allow Lenovo PCs to boot up faster.
EE3 certified Lenovo PCs boot up in 24 seconds on average, while the typical Windows 7PC trails with an average time of 41 seconds.
