NFC is not something new with Nokia. Some of the latest Nokia devices like N9 and Lumia 610 NFC are already NFC-ready. In WIMA 2012, Nokia showcases some offering with partners on NFC. Check out the video after the break.
In Singapore, NFC is not commonly use yet. However, I think that it will be a common item in 2 years. Currently, some MRT stations has NFC that you can tap to book a taxi. Nokia has also introduced NFC Hub in Singapore for easy adoption of this technology with businesses.
