Ever wanted a fast charging battery? A really fast one like NTT Docomo’s battery that can be charged in 10 minutes. The trick to do that is to draw more amps to the battery and thus making the charging faster.
In the video, you can see a big digital meter to show a standard charging with 0.5 amps. The NTT Docomo battery can actually draw almost 6 amps (5.85 amps) as shown in the digital counter.
No idea when this technology will be available. Currently, they are showing it as an external sleeve for an Android device. Hopefully, it can be incorporated into future phones.
