HTC has partnered with Dropbox to provide an extra 3GB storage for their new HTC Sense 3.5 users. Currently, only HTC Rhyme (not available in Singapore yet) has HTC Sense 3.5.
According to source, HTC did not mention if HTC Windows Phone users or existing HTC Android users who may get HTC Sense 3.5 later, will be able to enjoy this deal (from October) or not.
Anyway, if you look at the mobile scene, you will realize that cloud storage seems to be the new feature for Smartphones. For Windows users, you are already having 25GB of free storage, thanks to Skydrive which will be more integrated to Microsoft WP7 once Mango rolls out.
As for Apple users, you have iCloud. I guess HTC does not want to lose out. Other Google Android users will have to find their own solution as I don’t remember there is a free storage system from Google.
