Instagram introduces new features into their latest app. They have dubbed it as Instagram 2.0 and I guess that has to do with the improved features (better resolution, more filters, faster) you are going to get. And sorry, there is still no love for Android devices.
After updating the app, the first thing that you notice is the enhanced icon. I like it. Here are some new features that you will be getting: –
- Live filters – so fast, we let you see them live
- Four new filters
- Instant tilt-shift
- High-resolution photos – 10x larger than before
- Borders now optional
- One-click rotation
The Live Filter is super fast. So fast that you do not know which filter you have used. Maybe Instagram should show it more clearly. I love the instant tilt shift. Very easy to use. And yes, you can just turn off the border.
BTW, just a gentle reminder. If you want to enjoy the high resolution on Instagram, you need to turn on the Save Filtered Photo and Save Orginal Photo settings.
The settings is NOT on Instagram app. You will need to go to iPhone/iPad settings, scroll down until you see the “Apps”. Click on Instagram and turn on/off the feature. Click here for more information
