Microsoft Calls Tablet a PC and Attendees Take One Home at Build 2011

Microsoft might be trying to change the game by starting to call Tablet a PC. It might be a good move since there are so many Android and Apple Tablets around. A PC sounds like it can do a lot more work. And yes, they are giving away one PCs (actually in Tablet form) to attendees at Build 2011.

According to source, Microsoft is giving away a Samsung-built developer PC. And it is also providing a year of 3G service as a bonus. As for the PC (tablet), it comes with: –

  • Second Generation Intel Core i5 Processor
  • 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 Samsung Super PLS display
  • 64 GB SSD storage
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • Dock with USB, HDMI and Ethernet ports.

I am not sure what ports are on the Tablet (or PC in this case).
