NEWEST HEADBAND-STYLED JABRA HALO2 IS THE MULTIMEDIA COMPANION FOR SMARTPHONE OWNERS TO GET MORE MUSIC AND SUPERIOR AUDIO

Iconic, fashion-forward Jabra HALO2 at S$148 brings Virtual Surround Sound and Power Bass for better sounding music & calls on-the-go from multiple devices

Singapore, 12 September 2011 – Cut the wires and stay plugged in to all your favourite devices for music and calls! Launching from the Jabra music series, the new Bluetooth® stereo headset Jabra HALO2 is the ultimate smart phone companion. Along with all the best features of the popular, well-loved Jabra HALO, the HALO2 includes more new features like AM3D Virtual Surround Sound and Power Bass to deliver an enhanced listening experience. A new metallic color-style makes Jabra HALO2 the one-of-a-kind headset to wear on-the-go. Music and calls never sounded, or even looked, so good!

With Jabra HALO2 supporting latest Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR technology, users can make and answer phone calls wirelessly while further combining music and communication. Owners of smartphones with music-playing abilities can switch freely and seamlessly between music enjoyment and voice conversation. For fussy audiophiles, AM3D Virtual Surround Sound produces a listening experience that mimics a multiple-speaker-sound coming from various directions and Power Bass adds enhanced audio. All this from any location your mobile lifestyle takes you to.

From this Friday 16th September 2011, Jabra HALO2 Bluetooth stereo headset retails for $148 (RRP) from Challenger stores and Apple premium resellers: Epicentre, Nubox, Digi Lifestyle, Apple Shops at Best Denki and other authorized Jabra resellers.

Jabra HALO2 boasts advanced Multipoint technology: you can connect up to two Bluetooth-enabled devices at any one time (out of maximum pairing with 8 devices). A touch sensor on the side of the headset lets you adjust volume with the swipe of a finger while the wireless stereo sound AVRCP technology enables you to control your music the way you like all by touch: skip tracks, play, and pause songs without ever having to touch the phone or your music player. You can leave your smartphone safely in your pocket or bag and manage your music playing (and phone calls) directly from the HALO2.

“We’re inspired by the Singapore response and market feedback to the original Jabra HALO. It is with much excitement that we launch Jabra HALO2,” said Jonathan Tang, Jabra APAC Managing Director. “Increasingly, we’re also seeing people use their tablets for VoIP calling, such as via Skype, not just for consuming music and multimedia. With Jabra HALO2 and the hands-free convenience it embodies, users can get so much more out of their mobile devices.” A recent study commissioned by Jabra showed an increasing trend in the use of multiple devices for music, calls and other multimedia, with 89% respondents stating that they regularly use more than one device[i].

Lightweight at 80g with talk-time of up to 8 hours (and separate music time, up to 8 hours), HALO2 features Noise Blackout technology with dual microphones, so your voice transmission comes through crystal-clear. Really, nobody needs to put up anymore with lousy audio. With an incoming call, the music playing automatically fades down so you can decide whether to switch from music to talk.

Combines wired and wireless technology

Offering the best of both corded and wireless options in one product, Jabra HALO2 is equipped with a detachable cord for users who prefer a direct connection to their music player and is capable of connecting wirelessly to take calls on multiple smartphones or Bluetooth-enabled devices. The ear pieces are cushioned with suede leather to provide maximum comfort for wearing and all-day music enjoyment.
