Apple Loses iPhone Prototype in Bar Again

There are so many rumors now on the launch date, from September to the recent October. Now, it seems that something happened recently that is really familiar. Man went to bar. Man loses phone. Phone is the latest iPhone yet to be released.

Yes. Apparently, one Apple employee loses a prototype iPhone at a bar again. This time, the bar is in San Francisco called Cava22. And not, Gizmodo did not have it.

Apple traced the phone to a two-floor, single-family home in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood and together with local police, they spoke with a man in the twenties that apparently went to Cava22 the faithful night. The man denied finding or picking up the phone.

A search in the house reveals nothing and Apple did offer the man money in return of the phone with no questions asked. But the man is sure he don’t have it. According to source, the phone might have been sold on Craigslist for US$200.

BTW, this incident happened in July 2011.
