Those who are sick of hearing iOS, Android, Windows 7 or QNX can now look forward to something different, the WebOS. WebOS has been heard for a long time. Finally, there are some information and rendered picture of the tablets.
There are not much details on the tablets except that there may be 2 models. One 7-inch Opal and another is a 9-inch Topaz. Based on the render, there is no physical button, and there is a microUSB port.
Other than this information, there is also a leaked information on the tablets’ timeline (although it shows only Opal version). I think we can only wait until the HP/Palm WebOS event in February for more details.
From Engadget,
We’re told that units will start to arrive at Palm HQ in June as production ramps up for launch later this year — a timeline backed up by an internal marketing slide we received that lists WiFi-only, AT&T 3G, and Verizon LTE versions of the Opal arriving in September 2011, and on AT&T LTE in July 2012.
