Facebook (or Mark Zuckerberg) admits that they are behind on development for Android. With the announcement today, Android developers should be delighted that finally, Facebook realized that.
Also, during the event, he talked about Places and how it will be integrated into Facebook mobile. Plus, logging in on Facebook on your mobile will be easier and simpler in future.
During the events, he mentioned Facebook Places will be partnering with more companies.
And there will be more partnership with retail companies.
On Facebook on iPhone, he mentioned that the app will be updated later. However, Engadget mentioned that some users already have gotten new update (with issues). If you have new updates, please share with us.
BTW, on the issue with Privacy, Mark Zuckerberg made it clear that user has full control.
In my opinion, if privacy is so important, don’t use Facebook at all. And if some people are unsure about privacy settings, go to Facebook on your computer, go to Settings. There is a privacy option. Choose the one with the highest privacy. Or don’t even bother to log on to a mobile device with your Facebook account.
