I don’t understand how this advertisement is going to hurt Google. Nevertheless, WSJ is saying that Yahoo is spending US$85 million to takes a swipe at Google and tries to drive people to Yahoo sites. For the start, I am not switching, and even more after watching this video cluttered with little icons.
The only thing that they may want to show is the little plain looking website that has a search box on it. That may be Yahoo’s way of representing Google. But come on, Yahoo, when I wanted to search something, I will only want the search box and when I wanted more, I can use iGoogle.
Maybe it is too early to say about their US$85 Million campaign as what we have just seen is just an advert. There may be more ways Yahoo is proving itself again that it is all-in-one website for everything. You be the judge.
