Gizmodo Editor House Raided for Lost iPhone Prototype Saga

Gizmodo got another high profile appearance again. This time for the wrong reason. According to Engadget, Gizmodo editor, Jason Chen’s house was raided by REACT (Rapid Enforcement Allied Computer Team) with regards to the lost iPhone prototype.

From the report, several computers and items were taken away from his home last Friday. So, Apple reaction to the lost iPhone prototype is evident in their action. I wonder what will happen to Gray Powell.

Do you think that Apple over-react. Or do you think that Apple do it on purpose to serve as a warning for future “wannabes” who wanted that short spike of fame on Internet to stop even thinking of trying.

I wonder what will be the outcome if someone who does not give a damn about apple or its prototype to take pictures of it, dismantle it and published them to the World. Will the same action be taken?

What do you think?
