If you remembered, I blogged about Microsoft Courier a while ago (September 2009). Then, it was just a proof of concept. Now, it seems that everything is in place. Microsoft is slowly showing off its capabilities via high res video. And it seems that it may be available in Q3/Q4. Don’t jump in joy yet. It is not official but the videos are making me says “I WANT ONE Immediately!”. Video after the break.

It seems that the OS for this Microsoft Courier is based on Zune HD OS and built on Tegra 2. Initially, rumors were pointing Microsoft Courier with Windows 7. Now, it appears that it will be based on Windows Mobile 7 Series. It is smaller than what many had expected. It now seems so portable.

It has a pen input for writing like a Journal, Multi-touch and the OS is really nice (if the end product is same as those shown on video). I want one!

Judging from the video and the sales pitch, Microsoft Journal is great for people on the move and for creative people that would like to jot down their ideas, share them with anyone, anytime, anywhere.
