When you view videos from Youtube today, don’t be surprised that they are captioned. Youtube has been testing out the Automatic Caption for a while (since last November, according to Gizmodo). Youtube is using Google speech recognition to perform this job.

It is not perfect. You will see many funny captions and in my opinion, will confuse you even more. You can go to your Youtube account, select Playback Setup to toggle the Captions.
