I think this week, HTC HD2 will feel delighted and sad. First of all, the SMS issue has not been going well which is a kind of sad. However, HTC issued a new ROM saying that it will “provide fast and reliable” SMSes. This was the promise made in the previous fix. It is great, except that HD2 owner will have to flash the ROM and lose all the settings and data on it. With all these bad news, here are some better or good news. HTC has improved on its Car kit (my opinion which I will share later) and also an extended battery with stand appears and slated to be available soon.
The car kit CU S400 can be ordered online via Expansys at SG$129.99. Why do I say this is better than the previous one. If you remembered the previous one, you need to change the metal back cover in order to use it. Yes, it looks nice but who is going to bring an ugly back cover when you are not using the car kit.
So, I think it would be up to the consumer to see which one fits best. BTW, I am not sure if HTC is selling both of not.
The new car kit is more practical (but less sleek) as it does not need you to change the cover. However, it do cover up the earphone jack (from the picture).

Next, the new extended battery. It has a stand and you can actually watch movie in comfort. The 4.3-inch screen is good enough for watching movie if you have no other alternatives. The price stated at Clove is £53 at 2 times the battery capacity and should arrive in February.
