Singtel and Motorola “Everything Else is Anti-Social” DEXT Event – Video Within

I was invited to this “Everything Else is Anti-Social” event jointly organized by Singtel and Motorola. It is actually the launch of Motorola DEXT in Singapore. The event was held at The Central Helipad. It is a very nice place with good ambience.

There was 2 parts to this event. One that started earlier at 6:30pm was for the blogger session and another one that started one hour later is actually a networking session. I went for both.

A handful of bloggers attended the first part. As the group was small, we were able to get the fullest attention from Singtel and Motorola.

The event started with our very cool compere, Glenn Ong. It follows with speech from both parties, Motorola and Singtel. We were given a in-depth understanding of the MotoBlur (BTW, MotoBlur is a platform by Motorola that synchronize contacts, post feed, messages, emails and etc automatically into the home screen) and also the Motorola DEXT which is an Android phone with Qwerty keyboard.

Next, we have Sarah Chua, VP of Consumer Marketing, explaining to us Singtel latest campaign, ImSocial (I am Social). It has a Facebook fanpage that has a Photo Mosaic Wall created via a Social Media platform. Fans can post their pictures (that show their social best) to the wall and lucky ones might be featured in their DEXT Marketing campaign.

Here is a look at the Photo Mosaic Wall.

Following that, we were honored to have Singapore Idol’s Runner Up, Ms Sylvia Ratonel, to officially launch this ImSocial Campaign.

The blogger session ended with us splitting into smaller groups to continue to field our questions with Motorola’s representatives. We questioned on the real time update of information, battery life and etc.

The next session has a much bigger turnout. We can see people from the Media and more bloggers joining in. We were thrilled to have Ms Sylvia Ratonel singing us two songs.

Here are the videos.

and here is the next one.

Throughout the event, our photos were taken by the pretty and handsome ImSocial reps.

Of course, bloggers cannot do without some camwhoring.

At the end of this networking sessions (plus buffet, drinks and etc 🙂 ), 4 lucky person went home with one Motorola DEXT each.

We proceed to the Helipad to continue our “networking”. Here is a nice view from the Helipad.

And we ended the session with group photo.

But this is not the end. In fact, it marks the start of ImSocial Campaign. Do checkout the up and coming event at their Facebook Fanpage
