I was invited to the BlackBerry “Be Bold. Distinctively Bold.” Event. It was held at 72-13 Mohammed Sultan Road to launch the latest BlackBerry Bold 9700 Smartphone in Singapore.
It was a big event, with many celebrities gracing it. I could recognize Pierre Png, Adam Cheng, Utt, Denise Keller (compere), Randall Tan and many others.
There were dance, songs, games, fashion show, drinks and food flowing freely through the night. Here is a picture of the dancer gettting ready.

The event was supposed to start from 6pm. But the main stream only came in after 7pm. Anyway, we have some free time to play with the BlackBerry Bold 9700. They had set up many kiosks for us to try out the phone.
The trackball is missing in this Bold 9700. Instead, it was replaced by a touchpad. I was quite surprised that the touchpad is so sensitive and easy to use. I think this would be the direction that BlackBerry will go in future.
The lighting there is very dim. So, I did not take any video on the Bold itself. The event hall is very big.
Just before the event begins, I requested to take a picture of Denise Keller. And thanks to the PR of BlackBerry, we (bloggers) were able to have a comfortable couch to watch the event 
.
