TechCrunch’s CrunchPad Coming, Maybe

The last I heard about CrunchPad is in July 2009. I blog about it as a Singapore firm is working with TechCrunch on this CrunchPad. It is a 12-inch device without storage, has 3G and Wifi.

On first look, it is like a tablet PC. However, the OS is actually based on Webkit and developed by a Singapore firm, Fusion Garage.

Anyone, from UMPCportal,

Clearly the Crunchpad is alive, it’s going to cost between 300 and 400 dollars, it’s Atom-based, it’s going to be sponsorship-supported, web-only and we should expect ‘big news’ shortly.

There is a video talking about CrunchPad. The video is very long. However, you can start from 39 minutes onwards to hear about the CrunchPad news.

Will you get one if it arrives, if the price is between US$300 to US$400?
