Microsoft Announces New Features on Marketplace that Allows Non-Mobile Browsers to Access Software

Microsoft announces new features on Marketplace for Mobile. According to the Windows Mobile Developer Blog, it says that the enhancement is to tackle anti-piracy issues and to be able to browse Marketplace on a normal computer to buy/download software.

This will be good news for those who like to browse on their PC and yet wish to purchase the Windows Mobile software. A plus point for developer as their software gets more exposure. Another good news to the developers is that more protection against Piracy.

BTW, on their blog post, it mentions that Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 users will be getting Marketplace. From their blog post: –

I look forward to providing a more detailed update on Windows Marketplace for Mobile when we extend the service to Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 customers later this month.
