Google has released the SDK for Android 1.6 (Donut). It has a very cute video introduction of this 1.6 OS. Major enhancement is various screen resolutions supported, QuickSearch, Revamped Android Market, Text-to-Speech API. Video after the break.
Here is the video. From Engadget, it seems that the software may be released to devices as early as October.
