Believe it or not, Twittering is going to be made in a documentary film. It is not going to be “how Twitter is born” kind of documentary. It is more on how Twitter has affected the lives of real people. The filming of this Twittamentary will commence in a few months time.
This Twittamentary will be filmed by Singaporean, Tan Siok Siok. For those who do not know her, she is the one who film, Boomtown Beijing, about how Beijing prepares itself for the Bejing Olympics 2008.
Tan Siok Siok is still trying to get more ideas from Twitterers around the world. She is targeting March 2010 for the release of this film.
We are looking for great stories about how Twitter has affected the lives of real people, stories that have visual potential. We will be launching our web platform in the coming weeks and Twitter users will be invited to contribute story ideas, rich media and videos. This is going to be the first “do-it-ourselves” movie about Twitter!
We really need help to get the word of the project out to as many Twitter users as possible. So if anyone who runs a popular blog, news outlet or technology platform, wants to be our media partner, please send me tweet @sioksiok.

So, if you have ideas, please let Siok Siok knows.

All the best to her in this upcoming film. BTW, Siok Siok, if you need my help, just give me a buzz on @joeteh.
