Creative is finally ready to show the world its StemCell Computing device, Zii EGG. It is an Android Powered device that has the Creative Chip, ZMS-05 incorporated inside.

They created a buzz since last year on the term StemCell Computing. At that moment, it is a very new term and not many people understand it. Over the one year, it started to introduce it as a media rich experience with its ZMS-05 media rich application processor.
Today, Creative lets the World know about its new Plaszma Platform.
The Zii Plaszma Platform provides developers, system integrators, OEMs and ODMs with the essential building blocks to rapidly and efficiently create compelling media-rich devices and applications and bring them to market under their own brand. The Zii Plaszma Platform comprises: the Zii™ EGG StemCell Computer, ZMS-05 System Module, ZMS-05 Media Rich Applications Processor, Plaszma OS and Plaszma SDK.
Of course, all eyes are on the Zii EGG. It is touted as the World’s First Handheld StemCell Computer.
Creative is offering an attractive US$399 Starter Kit of the Plaszma Platform SDK and a free 32GB Zii EGG. I must say that the specifications of the Zii EGG is impressive. However, it does not have any cellular signal. But then, this is a Developer kit. So, I think we will need to wait a while for some nice phones with Zii essence in them.
