Sentosa was stormed by terrorists. Many people were killed and Singapore STAR unit, Army SOF, SCDF were activated. Luckily, this is just an Exercise. Exercise NorthStar VII is a joint exercise with Singapore Police Force, the Army and SCDF. It showcased a combined effort of various agency in a terrorist attack. What is significant is this exercise at Sentosa is a re-enactment of the incident in Mumbai where one Singaporean was killed.
Actually this is a 3 days exercise comprising of MRT attack, Sea attack and Hotel and Hostel situations. The exercise is to see if our various agencies are able to communicate and coordinate the rescue and etc.
