New Security Loopholes in Microsoft XP, No fix Yet

xp_fixMicrosoft has issued a warning for existing XP users that there is a vulnerability in the Internet Explorer and it has NOT been fixed yet. The warning was issued on Monday.

With this loophole, hackers can take control of victims’ computer remotely. Good news is that you can disable this function temporary while Microsoft fnds the fix.

From Microsoft Security Advisor, “Vulnerability in Microsoft Video ActiveX control could allow remote code execution”. According to Straits Times, a victim needs only to visit to the hacked website. Good news is that, there is a temporary solution. On Microsoft website, there is a Fix It icon at the website for users to fix it (temporary, I think).
