Singapore Confirmed Its First Case of Influenza A H1N1 Flu Strain

This is inevitable. Singapore has confirmed the first H1N1 Flu strain. The person is a 22 year old Singapore woman who  has been in New York from 14th to 24th May. She arrived in Singapore on Tuesday morning.

For those who has taken on the same flight with her, Singapore Airlines flight SQ25, and in rows 52 to 58, please call hotline on 1800-333 9999, so that officers can check on your health condition.

This lady was sitting in row 55 and she develop cough during the flight. However, she passed the thermal scan at the Airport.

Luckily she was a very responsible person. She went to a General Practitioner later that morning who decided to send here to Tan Tock Seng Hospital via the special ambulance service 993 meant for suspected Influenza A (H1N1) cases.

She is now in stable condition.
