Google “I Quit” Program Identifies Employees Likely to Quit

Everything in Google is statistics. Even to the extend to calculate who might be quiting their job. Google has made an algorithm to determine or at least identify who is likely to quit. According to Straits Times, Google resort to this calculation with the recent departure of top executives.

This post actually originated from Wall Street Journal. It mentions that in order not to have a brain drain on determining the quiting trend, this algorithm was made. However, Google declined to share the algorithm.

The inputs include information from surveys and peer reviews, and Google says the algorithm already has identified employees who felt underused, a key complaint among those who contemplate leaving.

There are over 20,000 employees at Google and I think this, if successful, will again made Google ahead of the pack. They could even sell this formula to HR Company??
