Au (KDDI) and Sharp will be proposing a new Solar Power Phone, most probably in June. The phone will feature a lid that has solar panel embedded in it. A exposure to the sun for 10 minutes is equivalent to 1 minute of talk time or 2 hours standby time. BTW, it is waterproof.
