Google is using its technology to help with the deadly Australian bushfires that is ongoing. It is using Google Map and help from fire department to pinpoint the location and also using available satellite imagery from the Modis Rapid Response project at NASA/GSFC.
However, as you can see, there are smoke all around the satellite images. It is quite impossible to see anything. More information after the break.
