Facebook is NOT original. In fact, the original idea came from Facebook founder, Zuckerberg’s former College roommates, according to the report.

ConnectU creators Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss claimed that they enlisted Zuckerberg to finish software code for their social-networking website while they were all students at Harvard in 2003.
It was mentioned that Facebook paid US$65 Million to ConnectU creator for swiping the idea of the social network. Adding on to that, in one of the agreement between the two parties, Facebook has to buy ConnectU at an undisclosed amount.
The agreement also includes a clause to mention that no information of their agreement should be leaked out or they will pay a multi-million-dollar penalty.
