Latitude is a New Application from Google. Now, you can actually share your location anywhere in the world (at this moment, 27 countries) with your friends or family members. This is made possible if you are using the latest Google Map Mobile software. It using your phone signal to approximate your location. So now you can do things like see if your spouse is stuck in traffic on the way home from work, notice that a buddy is in town for the weekend, or take comfort in knowing that a loved one’s flight landed safely, despite bad weather.
Although Latitude might sounds like intruding your privacy, it has a stream of privacy checklist for you so that you can control what information your friends can see. Also, Google will only register the last location.
If you don’t have a mobile device with Google Map, you can also use iGoogle on your desktop to track your friends. Quite easy to use.
