If you think your broadband speed is not fast as it is supposed to be, or you suspect that your ISP might be checking on your broadband, Google may have an answer for you.
Google has recently launched a new website with two non-profit partners to let consumer test their network connection. It is still in Beta and in my opinion, many bugs. Anyway, feel free to try.
According to the Press Release, they will have 36 servers in 12 locations around the world. And their diagnostic tools many reasons why the bandwidth is not performing to mark.
