I have to admit I am amazed at the passion of these people. Incidentally or accidentally, they found something different from the upgrade of their iPhone firmware.
Apparently, people from MacRumors found something that is worth taking a second look at the firmware.
To me, the information in the picture meant nothing. But to the eagle eyes of iPhone fans, it meant a lot. To cut the story short, here is a summary
- 1st Gen iPhone: iPhone1,1
- 2nd Gen iPhone (iPhone 3G): iPhone1,2
- 1st Gen iPod Touch: iPod1,1
- 2nd Gen iPod Touch: iPod2,1
Now, do you see the trend? Obviously, the fans are betting on the fact that iPhone2,1 is the New Generation of iPhone. Also, MacRumors discovered that iPhone firmware 2.X has evidence of next Gen iPhone in the making with the below image.
