Do not use the word Netbook unless you are talking about Psion Teklogix firm’s Netbook. I am thinking this may be one of the last few times people are using the word Netbook to describe small little laptops with Intel chips. The reason is very simple. It has stepped into the shoe of one company that produces the REAL netbook and this company is taking actions now.
What a lousy way to start Christmas. Nevertheless, after reading through the story, it seems that it is quite logical.

What is interesting is that the word Netbook was used by Psion Teklogix firm a long time ago. And the product is similar to the modern day Netbook (except for the OS).
Naturally, Psion is not very please with the wide spread of the term Netbook that they have endorsed. Moreover, they are still sellling the accessories of the Netbook.
So, “Cease and Desist” letters were sent from a firm in UK to sites to order them to stop using the term netbook as it infinged trademark from Psion. These sites have up to March 2009 to remove the Netbook term.
So, what actually is Psion Netbook?
