Seriously, I am no fan of HTC Camera.
First of all, it has plastic lens. Secondly, all the HTC phone that I had used does not produce the image that is comparable to Sony Ericsson, LG Viewty and etc with their trademark lenses. I seriously hope that HTC can do a thorough review on it. I have talked to many people and their comments for not getting a HTC phone is due to quality of the camera to the reason of NO FLASH.
HTC, please listen to these people as they love your phone.
Ok, this post is not to rant about how bad the camera is but to talk on the various menus on the camera and the actual quality that I have taken using this 3.2 MegaPixels camera.

First impression
- Very basic Lens
- No Auto Focus (means no macro on close objects)
- No flash or fill in lights
Usage
The usage is quite straight forward. If you had used a HTC phone before, you don’t need to be guided at all. There is NO dedicated trigger button for the camera. You can capture image by pressing down the DPAD.

As mentioned that there is no auto focus, the image is captured quite quickly.
Menus available on this Camera
Inside the camera mode, press the center icon as shown below and you will see Capture Mode menu. By pressing the “wheel” at the bottom right corner, you will go to Setting Menu.

By pressing the “Advanced” icon, you will see the below 4 pages. These are some finer controls for your camera.

If you wish to have Theme Frame on the camera, you just need to select “Picture Theme” and you will be able to select the frames as shown below.

For those who are interested in the software version of this camera, please see below.

And for those who are interested in the image quality, I have captured 3 of them as shown below. BTW, all of them are not in full size. My camera is set at super fine (original size is 2048 X 1536, current is 1024 X 768) and shrink down to 460 pixels in width.
Picture 1: My ride taken at about 6:20pm in a cloudy sky.

The below picture is taken at around 6:30pm.

The below picture is taken at around 7pm.

Conclusion
The HTC Touch 3G Camera is good for basic usage but if you are a picture lover, this camera will never be able to satisfy you. In fact, I was surprised that a 2 MeagPixels camera from an iPhone can perform same, if not better than this 3.2 MegaPixels camera.
