Finally, the new Apple iPhone debuts. It will be called iPhone 5 and Singapore will be the first batch (9 countries) to get the iPhone 5 from 21st September 2012. From Straits Times, iPhone 5 (in white or black) and will be available in Singapore for $948 (16GB model), $1,088 (32GB model) and $1,238 (64GB model) without contract. Pre-order starts from Friday (14th September).
As for the second batch (22 countries), they will get the iPhone 5 on the 28th September (a week later).
And the rest of the world in December.
As for the specs, I will leave it later to talk about it. Just a little thing about LTE (Long Term Evolution). Seems like the iPhone 5 is LTE friendly in Singapore. Saw the SingTel and M1 logo in one of the slides.
As for pricing, here is a reference of the US pricing with 2 years contract.
